LOST HILLS, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2026) — Soil health will take center stage Oct. 22, 2026, when Holloway hosts the inaugural Soils in Action, a fall field day and tradeshow bringing growers, industry professionals and soil health innovators together at Holloway’s historic gypsum mine site in Lost Hills.
Running from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will take place directly in the field, offering attendees a hands-on look at technologies, best practices and ideas shaping the future of soil health.
The field day will feature interactive demonstrations and presentations, and innovative exhibits, all focused on soil health, along with opportunities to connect with industry representatives and fellow growers. A barbecue lunch will also be provided.
Soils in Action aims to move the conversation about soil health beyond learning about soil basics in the classroom and meeting rooms, and into the field, where ag professionals can see best practices and cutting-edge technologies in action.
“Soil health is fundamental to the long-term productivity and sustainability of agriculture,” said Daniel Terry, Holloway’s Senior Vice President of Ag Products. “Bringing growers and industry experts together around soil health gives us an opportunity to share practical knowledge, showcase best practices and explore new approaches that can make a real difference in the field. We want Soils in Action to be a place where people can learn from one another and take ideas back to their own operations.”
